Mallappa Kumara Swamy, PhD, completed his Postdoctoral Research at the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), from 2014-2018. He has more than 16 years of teaching and research experience in the fields of plant biotechnology, secondary metabolites production, phytochemistry and bioactive studies. Dr. Swamy has published more than 100 research publications in peer- reviewed journals, 25 book chapters and has edited 10 books with reputed international
